  ## Edit tasks directly from the ticket list

  You can now manage a task without opening it. Every task row on a [ticket](/employees/track-onboardings-as-tickets) is a compact action bar:

  * **Manual tasks** — change status, priority, tags, and assignee inline. Tag edits batch into a single save when you close the menu. Mark tasks as done in one click, or open the **⋯** menu for more actions.
  * **Onboarding and offboarding steps** — set priority inline and use **→** to jump to the matching stepper step. Status stays read-only so the stepper remains the source of truth.

  The task detail page also gets a new **Actions** menu (view details, view logs, edit, cancel). The edit modal now focuses on title and tags, since you set the assignee inline.
