<Update label="October 5, 2026" tags={["Helpdesk", "AI", "Device Management"]}>
  ## Grant temporary admin rights from a ticket or the chat

  An employee who needs admin rights for a printer driver or a VPN client asks in a ticket. With Primo AI on the ticket, they become an administrator of their Mac or Windows device for 1 to 24 hours. An IT admin approves, not their manager, and nobody approves their own rights. The device removes the rights at the deadline, even offline. An Admin management control that demotes extra admins can end them sooner. Admins can also ask Primo AI in the chat.

  See [Grant temporary admin rights](/tickets/helpdesk-agent#grant-temporary-admin-rights).

  ## Raise and follow IT tickets from Microsoft Teams

  Employees raise a ticket by posting in a subscribed Teams channel, or by mentioning the Primo app in a channel where it's added. Messages in a personal chat with the app go to their latest open ticket, or open a new one. Primo confirms in the thread, and replies there become comments on the ticket. Public replies you send with **Also send to Teams** go back to the thread; internal notes never do. A Microsoft 365 administrator connects your tenant in **Tickets > Settings > Microsoft Teams**. Then add the Primo app to your teams and choose the channels.

  See [Microsoft Teams](/tickets/teams).
