Set up the control

Go to MDM > Controls > Add new control

Select Wi-Fi.

Enter the network details

  • Network name: the SSID of the Wi-Fi network.
  • Encryption type: select the security type (e.g. WPA2).
  • Network password: the password for the network.

Select targeting

Choose which devices to apply the control to: all devices, specific device groups, or a custom target.

How it works

Primo pushes the Wi-Fi configuration as a managed network profile via MDM. Devices connect automatically when the network is in range. Employees do not need to enter credentials manually.

Modify or remove the control

Open the control from MDM > Controls to edit or disable it. Disabling stops enforcement but does not remove existing configurations from devices.
