Track a SaaS manually when it has no integration in the catalog, or when you don’t want Primo to push changes to it. Primo keeps the list of accounts and creates a task for the SaaS owner whenever an account must be created, updated, or removed. The owner makes the change in the SaaS itself, then completes the task.

Add a manual SaaS

1

Go to SaaS > Directory and click Add a SaaS

2

Select Track manually

If your plan doesn’t include SaaS provisioning, Primo shows an upgrade prompt instead.
3

Fill in the SaaS details

In Create a new SaaS, enter:
  • SaaS name
  • Owner: the employee who manages the SaaS. They receive the tasks, notifications, and approval requests.
  • Logo: upload one, or click Fetch automatically.
4

Confirm

The SaaS opens on its Settings tab, with Manual Management via Tickets enabled.

Import existing accounts

On the Settings tab, click Import identities in the Manual Management via Tickets card. Primo AI opens with an import request for the SaaS. Follow its prompts to add the existing accounts, for example from an export of the SaaS admin console.

How accounts are managed

Each account change becomes a task for the owner: To stop managing the SaaS through tasks, click Disable in the Manual Management via Tickets card. To track costs, enter the contract details in the Settings tab. See Cost management.
